The External Control Unit is intended for industrial-style or repeated operation where the machine should run a prepared G-code job without relying on a laboratory PC during the process.
It is useful when a trained operator needs a clear start-and-run workflow, or when the spraying system becomes part of a more production-like workstation.
Important connection note: if the external controller communicates with the machine over the serial connection, do not connect the PC USB cable to the machine at the same time.
